A lot of detailed planning and experimentation with the this design has occurred over the last couple of years and I'm proud to display the variations of the limited edition series I call the Slipstream. As in previous Argent Blue and Metalwrite efforts the highlights of the pen are sterling silver and detailed flowing guilloché. The hallmark clip remains solid sterling silver and this design will sport a Mother-of-pearl inlay on the barrel and cap end. Variations of the designs display Mother-of-pearl inlays in the barrel and cap sides.

To keep costs down, the section is made from highly polished nickel silver and houses a custom Argent Blue 18K gold nib by Peter Bock. The pen weighs 71 grams, is 125mm in length and operates with cartridge or cartridge converter. Nib styles available are italic fine and italic

"Double Saw"

Classic Guilloché technique using an unusual pattern. Mother-of-pearl inlays in cap and barrel ends.

"Basketweave"

Classic "horizontal" basketweave pattern. Mother-of-pearl inlays in cap and barrel ends.

"MOP 1"

Thick Mother-of-pearl spiral inlays in the silver barrel. Decorative guilloché on the cap.

"MOP 2"

Double spirals of thick Mother-of-pearl inlays in the silver barrel. Decorative guilloché on the cap

"Geometric"

Rectangular Mother-of-pearl inlays in the cap, barrel, and clip.

"Spiral"

An unusual guilloché pattern decorating the cap and barrel. Mother-of-pearl in cap and barrel ends

"Wave"

Thin, subtle Mother-of-pearl inlays alternating with curved barrel grooves. Unique spiral guilloché pattern on the cap

"Chicane"

"S-shaped" Mother-of-pearl inlays in cap, barrel, and clip.

"Foxy Heads"

A classic use of what's called the "fox head" pattern. Unique diamond-shaped Mother-of-pearl inlays in the clip
