Damascus Straight Body
This Damascus pen was made out of a custom ordered forging of Robert Eggerling steel. A preconstructed acrylic gripping section was used as well as a threaded acrylic sleeve in the cap barrel to allow the two barrels to screw together. The pen is shown with a rollerball attachment but that is removeable and a standard Bock 250 nib and sleeve will fit thus turning the pen into a fully functional fountain pen. The clip was custom made out of a 2mm thick piece of Argentium sterling silver. The silver ring at the tail end of the pen was machined from a casting sprue, Damascus end caps were fluted on an angle for decoration, and the pen was made to order at a large diameter of 18mm.
